This Privacy Policy applies to users of Wyndo's applications, websites, and all global service offerings. It describes the data ("personal data") that we collect, how we use this data, and your choices regarding it.
II. Overview
Wyndo and its affiliates collect and use data. This privacy policy specifically applies to:
- Retailers — store proprietors who offer goods and services listed on the Wyndo application.
- Consumers — store visitors who access the Wyndo application to browse, reserve, and interact with reserved goods and services at Wyndo networked stores.
All those detailed above are referred to as "users" in this Privacy Policy. Our privacy policy is subject to applicable laws in the markets in which we operate.
III. Data Collection
Data Provided by Users
- Account information — We collect data when users create or update their Wyndo accounts, or place goods and services reservations via the Reservation System. This includes first and last name, email, phone number, login name and password, address, and other user settings.
- User content — We collect data when users contact Wyndo customer support for support and resolution, provide ratings or feedback for users, retailers, or otherwise contact Wyndo.
Data Created During Use of Our Services
- Location data — For consumers with an App Store or Play Store downloaded Wyndo application, we collect precise and approximate location data from consumer's mobile devices when the Wyndo app is running in the foreground or background.
- Location data enablement — We collect precise and/or approximate location information from consumers and retailer's devices if they enable us to do so via their device settings. Users may use the Wyndo apps without enabling location data collection; however, this may affect certain features.
- Transaction information — We collect transaction information related to the use of our services, including reservation details (date, time, pick-up details, items reserved) and payment transaction information (amount charged, payment method).
- Usage data — We collect data about how users interact with our services, including access dates and times, app features or pages viewed, browser type, and app crashes and other system activity.
- Device data — We collect data about the devices used to access our services, including hardware models, device IP address, operating systems, software, preferred languages, advertising identifiers, and mobile network data.
Data From Other Sources
- Users participating in our referral programs.
- Users or others providing information in connection with claims or disputes.
- Business partners such as payment providers, social media services, or apps/websites that use Wyndo's APIs or whose APIs Wyndo uses.
- Service providers who help us verify users' identity, background information, and eligibility to work, or detect fraud.
- Insurance or financial services providers for retailers.
- Publicly available sources.
- Marketing partners and service providers, and data resellers.
- Law enforcement officials, public health officials, and other government authorities.
IV. How Wyndo Uses Data
To Provide Our Services
Wyndo uses data to provide, personalize, maintain, and improve our services. This includes using data to:
- Create and update accounts.
- Enable finding and providing goods and services, reservation and dynamic pricing, such as:
- Using location data to provide consumers with local inventory and facilitate the reservation system process.
- Sharing consumer first name and shopping interest information with retailers to facilitate reservations.
- Matching retailers and their goods to users through browsing and search features, including personalized recommendations.
- Enabling accessibility features and account linking.
- Calculate prices within our Dynamic Pricing feature.
- Personalize users' accounts based on prior reservations or searches.
- Provide reservation updates, generate receipts, and inform users of changes to our terms, services, or policies.
- Perform necessary operations to maintain our services.
Safety, Fraud Protection and Security
We use data to help maintain the safety, security, and integrity of our services and users. This includes:
- Verifying users' accounts, identity, or compliance with safety requirements.
- Using customer service information, device data, transaction, and usage data to identify potentially harmful usage.
- Using account, device, location, usage, transaction, and other data to prevent, detect, and combat fraud.
- Using reported incidents, user ratings, and feedback to derive reliability score features.
- Using user data to predict and help avoid recommendations that may result in increased risk of conflict.
Customer Support
We use the information we collect (which may include call recordings, chat logs, incident notes) to provide customer support, investigate and address user concerns, and monitor and improve our support processes.

For example, a retailer may contact a consumer with information about their reservation or interested query.

Wyndo uses data to market its services and those of Wyndo partners. This includes:
- Sending emails, text messages, push notifications, and in-app messages marketing Wyndo products, services, features, offers, and promotions.
- Displaying Wyndo advertising on third-party apps or websites.
Legal Proceedings and Requirements
We use data to investigate or address claims or disputes, to satisfy requirements under applicable laws, regulations, or operating licenses, or pursuant to legal process or governmental request.
Cookies and Identification Technologies
Wyndo and its partners may use cookies and other identification technologies on our apps, websites, emails, and online ads. We may also allow others to provide audience measurement and analytics services, serve ads on our behalf, and track and report on ad performance.
VI. Data Deletion
Wyndo retains user data for as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Users may request account deletion through the Wyndo apps and websites.
Following a deletion request, we delete the user's account and data, except as necessary for safety, security, fraud prevention, compliance with legal requirements, or issues relating to the user's account (such as an outstanding credit or unresolved dispute).
For retailers, we generally retain certain data for as long as necessary for actual or potential tax, litigation, or insurance claims. For consumers, we generally delete data within 90 days of a deletion request, except where retention is necessary for the above reasons.

We may occasionally update this notice. If we make significant changes, we will notify users in advance through the Wyndo apps or through other means, such as email. We encourage users to periodically review this notice for the latest information on our privacy practices.
Use of our services after an update constitutes consent to the updated notice to the extent permitted by law.
